This week 12 youth and 5 adult leaders traveled to New Orleans for the National Youth Gathering. They are having a wonderful time! There are over 22,000 participants from 48 states, and 580 volunteers from 14 countries. We pray that God would watch over all of the participants, volunteers, and staff during this time. We are excited to hear more about their time at the National Youth Gathering when they return. Enjoy these pictures that we have received from their time there!
Wednesday, June 22nd and July 27th, the youth entering 7-12 grade will be going to Six Flags. We will meet at Bethel at 10am, have a short devotion and walk to the park. We will stay together as a group while walking to/from and inside the park. We will eat lunch inside the park (bring money if you don’t have a dining pass) and return to Bethel by 6pm. Don’t forget a bathing suit, sunscreen, towel, water bottle and your season pass or money to purchase a ticket. Parents are encouraged and welcome to bring younger siblings and join us for these events! (Younger siblings must be accompanied by a parent; a designated, responsible adult or guardian.) If you have any questions please contact Bob Paulson at 630-835-4306.

We are looking for helpers to setup (Saturday afternoon 04/26). We also need servers and cooks for early Easter morning and servers, cooks and clean-up crew for later Easter morning. The sign-up sheet is on the Hub. Can't get up that early? How about dropping off some breakfast pastries sometime before Saturday afternoon? We are also looking for Bacon and Orange Juice - grab a donation slip to see what we still need, also available on the Hub.
We are trying something new this year, we are asking breakfast diners to fill in forms so we can get a better idea on how many people to plan for Forms are available - on the Hub (I bet you are getting the idea that there's a lot of good information on The Hub - and you're right!)
But what we really want is for you to join us to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. So whether you come after the Sunrise Service, after the 8:00 Early Service or before the 10:45 Late Service - we want to help you celebrate Easter with your families and the family at Bethel. See you Easter morning!
