Governing Documents of Bethel Lutheran ChurchAttached are the updated 2022 Constitution, Bylaws & Policy Manual documents that govern Bethel Lutheran Church. For many years the Council and Elders have worked together to determine how to be best update our governing documents and there have been many ideas and iterations of the draft documents over the years. However, our leaders have determined that a policy-based governance approach is the best way to empower our boards and teams to accomplish their goals, within the parameters of the polices.
As you read the documents, please note that the Constitution and Bylaws are designed to be more longstanding documents while the Policy Manual is a living document. The Policy Manual will grow with us as we learn what works, what does not, and what needs clarification. |
